Privacy policy

This policy explains what OldSchool Thrift collects, why, how long we keep it, and how to have it removed. It applies to oldschool.easypi.in and covers everyone who visits or buys from us.

What we collect

• Account details — your email address, and your name if you provide one.
• Delivery details — the name, address and phone number you give us so an order can be shipped.
• Order history — what you bought, when, and its status, so we can fulfil and support the purchase.

If you sign in with Google

Signing in with Google is optional — you can create an account with an email address and password instead.

When you choose Google, we request only the openid, email and profile scopes, and we receive:

• your email address and whether Google has verified it;
• your name and profile picture URL, if your account has them;
• your Google account identifier, which we store so we can recognise you on your next sign-in.

We use this solely to create and sign you into your OldSchool Thrift account. We do not use Google data for advertising, we do not build profiles from it, and we do not sell, rent or transfer it to anyone. We never request access to your Gmail, Drive, Contacts or Calendar, and we cannot read them.

Google's own handling of your data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy. You can revoke our access at any time from your Google account permissions.

Payments

Payments are processed by Razorpay. Your card, UPI and banking details go directly to Razorpay and are never sent to or stored on our servers. We keep only the payment reference, the amount and the status, so we can match a payment to your order.

Because every piece is one-of-one and cannot be reserved, a payment is authorised first and only charged if the piece is still available. If someone completes payment before you, nothing is charged and the authorisation is released by Razorpay.

Who else processes your data

• Razorpay — payment processing.
• MongoDB Atlas — the database holding accounts and orders.
• Vercel — hosting and request logs.
• Google — only if you choose to sign in with Google.

Product photographs are served from a public content delivery network. They contain no personal data — image metadata, including any location recorded by the camera, is stripped before a photo is published.

We do not sell your data to anyone, for any purpose.

Cookies

We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in. Your shopping bag and wishlist are stored in your own browser and never leave your device until you place an order. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

How long we keep it

Account and order records are kept while your account is open, and for as long afterwards as we are required to retain them. Ask us to delete your account and we remove your personal details.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the data we hold about you — including anything received from Google. Message us on Instagram at @oldschool_thrift_. Deleting your account also removes its Google association.
